Livestream schedule - Beyond Chapter One content reveals (dates, content and time)

Just gutted that every time something I really want to watch regarding ED is when I am at work, this time it was hopefully we would get a looksy at the Chieftain, but Thursday it is. YouTube catch-up for me then. Tuesdays for the good stuff Dev's Tuesday....or Sunday or Monday. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday are now Forbidden.

I haven't watched it yet, but if it is like all the previous streams, the distracting gameplay going on by Ed in the background, drowning out the audio of the person answering the questions doesn't help make it any easier to hear the "important" stuff.

I really wish they would go from the current format to a "Round Table/Interview " show format, where Ed acts as the host and the guests provide the answers to community questions, WITHOUT the DISTRACTING and totally UNNECESSARY Gameplay going on in the background!

I think there's merit in this... but I think as we grow (and move in to our new studio) we'll be able to find a place for both discussion and demonstration.

Thanks for the feedback :)

Sounds good, I'd say get rid of Ed too and it would be perfect.
What's that? Oh no! The banhammer! :)

And so do I :D

Do we have any more information about the ATR ?

Can we see them ? What do they have special compare other policy patrol ?

If we got our ship "hot" ... how do we get rid of the "hot" status ? we just wait 1 week ? or does that changes also ?

great stream so far.

What is the "EVEN MORE!!!" stuff? Is that the Premium DLC such as HUD customization?

Premium DLC is slated for end of the year, as far as I know. These three streams are all about Q1, there's that much stuff. And Sammarco said on the first livestream that this is "the small patch," and the "big one" is Q4.

Nice stream, can't wait til Thursday! Wing missions are great, and the new C&P system looks nice. Well, things went a little fast for me, from what I got, there will be a gazillion of new bounty types and ships/modules can get hot. Now I'm The Lawful, so I'm not planning a criminal career and don't much like being punished, so I'm mostly interested in how to get rid of bounties/hot status if, lets say, you accidentally killed an NPC in a hazres. Could you give a short summary of the mechanisms involved and most preferably, strategies of keeping a "clean vest" in case of such a mishap? Otherwise, I'll find out in Beta and hammer you with bug reports :D

O7, keep up the good work,

Well think of it this way, IRL "accidentally" killing somene is manslaughter, which is still a crime, and you can still go to prison for it. Why should ED be any different.?

that said I like the C&P additional elements introduced that havent really seen up until now, namely the "notoriety" factor and the fact that drives the ratio of victim rebuy reduction and criminal rebuy/bounty cost, when someone actually gets them. I'm sure there's going to be a sweet spot there for the PVPer pirate types to work out but that's what the beta's for, I don'y know of that ratio changes in a linear or non-liner fashion. I'd like to think it's non-linear, as that fits with the "most wanted" bounty scenario for the most notorious pirates. (NOTE: I'm not calling them gankers!)

Also the wing missions fit a nice gap between single player missions and the CG's... will there be "rare goods" missions?

Looking good so far!

Keith

They said in the live stream that they're going to weight "friendly fire" incidents differently, the threshold will be higher. Also mentioned was that if it wasn't a fatal incident, it would likely be a fine, not a bounty.

They didn't say when the premium DLC would be released afaik.

"In addition to all the content talked about at Frontier Expo, we also have some pretty cool things in the works which will be available to purchase. We're not ready to talk about them just yet so we can't give you any details but rest assured that the lifetime expansion pass owners will be looked after and will be getting their hands on premium content as part of their lifetime expansion pass before the end of 2018 and the Beyond series of updates."

Accidentally killing someone is negligent homicide in RL and something quite different from manslaughter or murder, and death is the end of all criminal persecution anyway. The typical situation for this would be a hires where some 2% police ship suddenly flies into the line of fire, and the SLF pilot is not too reliable sometimes, too. IIRC all my murder bounties resulted from such incidents, and I just want to be sure I can get rid of them in some way at all. Otherwise, it would be very risky to do BHing in your home system, Shinrarta Dezhra in my case, and I don't want to write off one of my Corvettes just because it became hot after a stray shot. But apparently, that's cared for by IFF and other means. Apart from that, the new C&P system sounds great :D

Btw, does notoriety degrade over time or is it life-long?

Stay clean & O7,

Yeah so that could be anytime in 2018.

I think they said it gets cleared when you clear your bounty, or get killed. shame it doesnt carry over, but I guess that could cause "carry over" issues that ED don't want. They want an ctive criminal element to the game, hence the focus on consequences for crime and not out and out punishment per se. THey also said they wanted the anarchy systems to become more of criminal havens then that are now. which sounds great

When will you talk about Shields and Shield boosters balance ?

Hire me a video guy and I'll do it!

But yeah... absolutely. We do have Will now, and he'll be getting involved in the production stuff in the future!
Or invite me or another SDC and we will be the pilot. Fun & entertainment guarantee :D
