I've been seeking more human interaction recently. Today, the universe felt particularly empty. I visited various supposedly active PVP zones and was disappointed to see the local traffic reports showing just 30-70 ships in the last 24 hrs. I've heard that some systems have several thousand player ships registered in the past day, but have never actually encountered a really high traffic spot. Even the low and high intensity combat zones around Durius were empty today.
So my request is this: would anyone who has come across a high traffic system in the past day pls post the name of the system (and ideally a rough count of number of ships)? A high traffic system is one - in my book - with over 500 ships visiting; ideally over a thousand. I realize these reports may not be counting unique commanders, but it's better than nothing. I'd be more excited about Empire systems, but will take anything I can get. Thanks!
PS I did visit one of the starter zones yesterday - around Chemaku - but saw no players. So starter zones aren't necessarily a good bet until local traffic reports confirm a high count of player ships in the past day or so.
