I got that error when lauching via Steam. Running EDLaunch.exe gets me to the launcher but it still won't log in.

Strange.

I've been away from the game since last week and started playing again yesterday and I've had no issues...... in fact I'm logged into the game right now (PC on Steam).

Dynamic IP's much?

I'm back in the game and had over 15 friends listed on my main menu, so a lot of folks are back in the game right now.

Had the JSON error on log in for about 10-15mins, now able to log in again.

Got to the main menu and a message...

"We are aware of an issue preventing naval rank missions from spawning correctly. This also affects permit missions and engineer invites. We are working on the issue as a priority fix and intend to have this resolved as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience."
