I only left civilised space this morning, so I'm only a couple of thousand LY out.
I wanted to explore a globular cluster, and heded out for M4 (NGC 6121) but only a couple of the stars in it have designations, and I couldn't find either in the galaxy map. :(
So now I'm wandering towards NGC 6134
Don't know when I'll be back.

Currently on my way towards North America Nebula.
I'm a couple of thousand LY away from civilized space and found quite a few interesting planets already (like ammonia world 11 times larger then Earth :))
I need to start posting my explorer logs with screens I've taken :)

Well I have started out today.

The first thing that I wanted to do was cross CivSpace as quickly as possible. I have never ran into as many brown dwarfs and T Tauri Stars, and I was very nearly out of fuel. I have come to appreciate the fastest and economic options so much more. I am trying to head towards the Star of India; lovely name. I think because it is a blue giant and is blue like the Star of India diamond. But that is something I should look into. Only problem it's 1800ly out, in the ship I am in I can do a max of 14ly per jump. This may take a while. But the small hope jumps are yielding some interesting planets. Lots of high metals, possible terraforming candidates.

Dose anyone know how I can take pics, using a mac and I'm also wondering where those photos are stored if it is possible.

I would also welcome requests. It gets lonely out there in the black, especially when you are just hopping from star to star.

Just started my first trip into the unknown, about 400 Ly from civilisation, not sure exactly which way I'm going, I'd like to see the sights, I could do with a guide to the Milky Way!

Got annoyed with the state of PP and decided to head out into the galaxy. I've just left the California Nebula heading rim wards. I'm looking for unexplored space...unsuccessfully so far :(

Feel free to add me. Been to the "roof" of the galaxy, went down through the core via SagA* to the "base" of the galaxy, and now mooching around in the neutron belts collecting as many black holes as I can before heading back to civilised space, probably in a week or so.

Also, shouldn't this be made as an in-game group? That way anyone who joins also gets everyone else who's joined. No more accidentally refusing friend requests!?

Just jump at an angle away from the plane for a few light years and you'll be in unexplored systems in no time.

Is there a compiled list or is it a case of going thru the thread and adding people? I will go back page by page to look anyway.

Currently in the Dryaa Flyuae region harvesting Neutron Stars on my second trip to the core, I missed the Great Annihilator last time round.

But it's a lonely time. I play in Open and miss meeting folks.

I'm heading away from SAG A in the other direction. Orion Nebula is on my right shoulder as I make my way outward. currently around SYNUEFE AF Y C17 neighbourhood. I discovered a brown dwarf today. I'm over the moon.
