I don't fully understand the BGS yet but I'm sure I'll pick it up...

Although I don't know any personally, I would recommend the small and new wings sections on INARA:

They have membership between 1-10 players and to tell how new they are, I recommend checking the 'wing commanders' profile as it may display the date of creation in their activity log. Sometimes these groups are completely dormant so for a more active group you could explore:

Sorry it's not a definitive answer but might at least be a road sign.

Edit: Thought I'd found a good one but turns out they're French. :(

They should really add a Letters of Marque feature, such that anyone suspected of being French could be quite legitimately vaporized.

Actually just looking through the list. The person that started this group was part of mine for a while and left on perfectly amicable terms to start his own. Nice people, under 10 members and only started about a month ago: Firebird Starfleet

We understand if you can't always be on or make an event, and with us, it won't be held against you. We're AWESOME like that! Due to our natural casualness, we have very few guidelines:

1)Be A Guy over 18
2) Watch The Language (kids could be present)
3) ‎NO Griefing

Galactic Gunslingers are recruiting!

Four members, two of which are usually active at least a few days each week without fail. Active in BGS and its bigger brother PowerPlay (they are rather closely intertwined). Check us out, message me if you have questions or want to sign up and help us fill out our roster!

Hi,

My wing is a brand new group, currently only at 6 members but I intend to work hard to expand it. Everything's a work in progress and I've only started driving recruitment in the last couple of days.
We are open to members of any allegiance, however the plan is to set up an Alliance minor faction deep in Imperial space. We will create a minor faction when we have enough members, and so will be using the BGS to expand that. We might also aim to fight the Thargoids, and some of us have already been practising in the Pleiades. Any play style is welcome (though we are PVE focused), though from the sound of it fighting thargoids and making a faction surrounded by enemies might be your thing!

If it's not for you, hope you find the right group!

We've been around since 3303, were a small group of AnComs out near the Lave Cluster. We are working on creating our own free space communes out here on the Lave Frontier. If you're looking for danger then we also have 2 rivals of 10+3 pilots strong in Bhutas. The Lave Frontier Alliance is comprised of 100+ systems, and we have already flipped a few in our neighbourhood of operations, so we can give you an introduction to BGS pushing and provide you with PVP training when things heat up.
