Little short on mats to experiment, so I'm hoping to get a shortcut to best solution here.

So far having this on my transport-mission Python (avoiding all interdictions when fully loaded, so this is not seeing fights anyway):
3x 3C MC gimball/efficient/autoload
2x 2D Beam gimball/efficient

Thinking about going for MCs only and maybe start submitting, with this changes:
3x 3C MC gimball/efficient/autoload ==>> incendiary
2x 2D Beam/efficient
1x 2E MC gimball/high capacity/corrosive
1x 2E MC gimball/___/____ ?

Your experience with such loadout and advice for blank space? One more incendiary?

The idea is to keep firing everything at once on NPC interdictor (usually Deadly and Elite in medium ships, I'd still avoid Condas) and get over them asap. Ammo is no issue as, like I said, this is for maybe 1-2 fights between two stations.
No fixed wpns please and I'd like to keep 3 MCs with existing efficient and not re-engineer them.
Thanks!

I use an all MC python for combat regularly and I like to use overcharged with oversized experimental on the 3 large and 1 medium with overcharged/corrosive on the other medium. These MCs are transferred onto other ships though so the flat boost to damage is more useful to me than specialisation in shield stripping.

Got me some mats and did this.
So, in short...

Python with 4x MC efficient/incendiary + 1x MC corrosive vs Dangerous Federal Dropship and Novice Krait Phantom (sitting still).

Not great, not terrible. May be adequate for 1:1 combat if interdicted by NPC after all. A bit easier to use than MC/Beams combo, with no pip management (4-0-2 and hold trigger).

Short video of two forementioned encounters:

My Python pve setup for taking down quick both shield and hull:

2 * 3C gimballed multi cannon grade 5 rapid fire incendiary rounds
1 * 3C gimballed multi cannon grade 5 overcharged corrosive shells
2 * 2F gimballed multi cannon grade 5 overcharged thermal shock

With this setup my Python can handle both threat 3 and threat 6 mission sources, but I have to keep an eye on the heat during fire.
