My understanding is what is available at stations for outfitting can stock out, maybe they had a rush on PWAs recently.
Yes, that does happen. Maybe with the increase in module slots, Commanders out there are re-equipping for some mining.
If it were a big issue, you'd expect a lot of complaints here in the forum.
It could be a big game-breaking issue for Colonia without necessarily rising to the standard of "big issue" in the forums. The population of Colonia is comparatively small and necessarily cut off from the bubble.
In the light of this, it's worth warning anyone thinking of flying there to store one or two in the Bubble and ship them out if they need them. Better to pay the shipping cost than struggle to find one at all.
Been parked in Ogmar for a day or two now, hopping between stations, doesn't seem to be restocking.
I wonder if the addition of extra modules in 3.4 has pushed the PWAs out of the outfitting list - they're strangely high-tech for basic mining gear.

I'm just flown across from Explorer's Anchorage to Colonia on the way back from Beagle Point with my alt account who has just completed DW2.
I've tried a number of station's around the Colonia area and there's no stock anywhere, both inara and eddb report the same.
The annoying thing is I had one at Omega Mining Operation plus a lot of other mining equipment but for some stupid reason I thought it would be quicker and cheaper to sell these and buy them locally in the Colonia area than transfer them...
What an idiot expecting an area like Colonia having all the mining equipment, I mean it's not like it surrounded by lots of pristine rings or anything is it?
I really hope they stock up asap!

OK, it's the 19th of May and still no PWA''s in the Colonia region!!!
Just thought I'd mention again how annoying I'm finding this.
I've travelled around a number of station's and planet ports in the region in the hope of finding something that inara and eddb have missed but nothing.
What I have noticed in some ports are Experimental AX utility modules!! Why? Isn't Colonia about 22K lys away from them being any use?

They're produced by all surface ports of particular economies above a (minimal) tech level requirement. Fortunately, I think this means that they don't take up slots which could be used for something more locally useful.What I have noticed in some ports are Experimental AX utility modules!! Why?
