Lost Credits

I wonder if someone can help, I started playing Elite Dangerous...have the usual Sidewinder etc, was getting on ok until I unfortunately sold something I shouldn't have. anyway I had a red wanted light in my view panel. I new it would attract attention so was expecting the worst. I manage to land at a space station but as I left I was shot up by the station.... So I had to start a new game with a 1000 credits and a new ship. I had 4500 credits so how come I lost all my credits.???

Sounds like you did a clean start. This puts you back to the start where you start all over again.

Sorry mate, next time try and not get wanted. If you do then you need to pay the fine at a station or you will be wanted.

Clearing the savegame doesn't clear the 'last' save since there is only one savegame at all. When you clear it you are back on square 1 with all consequences.
