Powerplay Lost Power Play Merits

Hi I am at rating 5 with 4550 merits, I started this cycle with 4550 and although I dont recall the number I finished the last one with, it was more than 10k (so should have 5k+ merits now). Yesterday and today all I did was thargoid hunting… what could have happened ?

It is very hard to make good guesses about this topic without knowing your history of merits. Merits, however, are not just halved every week. There's more to it but this is explained best in this support article: https://support.frontier.co.uk/kb/faq.php?id=156
