Luxury run at TENCHE

don't have to prove anything just run those cheap runs, slaves and palladium it is for me....

OK... Last night I made ~1500k profit per ton. For a 30 second trip. I have a ~1500k per ton trade route doing plad and slaves. This luxury route made me significantly more cash/hour than my normal trade route. Did you watch the video?

Back into the madhouse tonight! I really enjoy the pandemonium of this area, lots of different types of people around, certainly makes you feel like you are in the food chain! The big debate for me is do I keep grinding credits, or take a break and hunt wanted people?

The only correct answer would be to do whatever you like. :D

If the price stays the same, its all good. It will pop back up to 83k+ soon enough.

But yeah, like people said, only true autists grind this. This is practically something a monkey could do. So mindless, boring, and dull.

Yeah it went back too 86k, awesome

and im running an anaconda and long been past the 300mill mark. I've done all the searching, grinding, milking, moving on and exploring i could be bothered in the past. I was enjoying my time in a fully A kit python but as thats going to be nerfed to crap soon i might aswell gear asmuch as i can in an anaconda asquick as i can instead of all that fun of bounty hunting in a ship that was heaven to fly while running rare routes and maxing my exploration. This is also helped by the fact i have a good 40mill or so lost to various bugs in un-seen tickets that i know i'll never get back (and those were more than just a couple of hours of loss in the earlier game).

So a route a monkey could do where i can watch netflix and get my money up fast while also atleast not feeling so cheated out of the time i lost...hells yeah, +1 again to the OP of this.

Yep my normal trade run is gold one way, imperial slaves the other. Takes me 12 mins to do both runs and I make 340k with it.
i find trading too boring though, I only managed 30 mins doing the luxury trade run.

just open your eyes guys their are routes out their doing 3, 5 k a ton in about the same time you would make 3 k in luxury routes

Please enlighten this short-sighted soul to the riches that seems to forever elude my grasp.......must be the years catching up. Now where did I stash that monocle?

There seems to be a completely random bug that lets you sell the same load of cargo to two traders.

If you drop out of SC and the RNG feels like spawning two T9s next to you, you will get 2 sets of messages saying you were paid X credits for Y tons.

Not 100% certain, but I think I got double payment for that load of cargo.

You didn't. Happened to me several times last night. In fact, I intentionally started boosting to slide between two of the T9's to test it. You get the message twice, but only get paid once.

I thought the same thing when it first happened, and wanted to video it for a ticket, but I was never able to make it actually give me the payout twice, no matter how many times I managed to get between them and get the message. Looks like it's a timing issue. The ships both attempt to cash out the cargo for you, but only one actually makes the transfers.

My Clipper, with A5 shields and a Docking Comp (don't judge me! lol) carries 228 T. It's better than the T7 AND it's a dream to fly - the T7 flies like a brick tied to a lead weight tied to an anvil.

What size shield did you use? I imagine you swapped out the original for a smaller module so you could use the larger cargo racks?

What happens when you shoot the traders until they drop cargo and sell it to the next?
Do they turn hostile on you? Is there something like trader rep?

Met disappearing traders yet again, went away for half an hour, nothing changed. Well, what am i supposed to do so that they stop disappearing? Do i need to wait in game so that something syncs or?..

the faction despises you fairly quickly, as do the traders type 9s wallowing after you is amusing

You have to wait until they get to wherever they have to get to, however long that takes. Usually it's around half an hour. This doesn't just happen with luxuries, happens with cap ships, conflict zones etc.

I was just been trading in open on the route. A trio of Adders were laying proxy mines all across the station entrance as well as flinging biowaste all over the place outside of the no-fire-zone to lag the instance. I actually enjoyed running the gauntlet in my type-7 and almost managed to kill one of the Adders by boosting into him while he was busy admiring his handiwork, but sadly he teleported out of the way thanks to the latency from all the trash and spent ordinance. :(

I had to bow out after the lag got unplayable.

And therein lies the proof of the "jump to solo" argument .. and people wonder why traders dont want to play in open ..

I have it too, no idea what to do.

Alright, so this is for the benefit of folks who didn't read the earlier parts of the thread. If the traders are disappearing / moving away from you, give it 15-30 minutes break to get to where they want to go and they'll stay put. Just use the next-closest trader site / do something else / chill for a bit in the meantime.

Roger! Thanks.

By the way, this route is really dangerous. I hurt my right arm somehow grinding from type 6 to type 7 yesterday. Now i have to fly with left arm... horrible.

i buggered off and did some combat for a while, like about an hour. then went back, and they were persistent.

Still the luxury seekers there?

It must be a very busy route...

I've cheeked and am only 60 LY away from Beta Sculptor System. Anyway I doubt I'll be making you guys a visit, since here I have all the entertainment I need. A good trade route to earn good cash and a couple of contracts to hunt some pirate Condas...:D

looks liek they're gone... well, the place is there, but as soon as I jump in, they vanish... gone... denada... have to sell it 13Ls away from there....
