Luxury run at TENCHE

Might bring in more people to help looking for new systems that meet all the conditions, but that would also result in the boom going away sooner, so I'm not too certain how I should feel about making this thread stick out more.

Clippers can do 240 tons still shielded btw.

Really? What did I miss? I left the stock shield fitted as it was and maximized every cargo slot I could find.

EDIT: Damn, that thing can fit Class 3 shields? Got it now... that should be enough protection for slightly bumping the station while docking. Thanks for the tip!

EDIT 2:

So this is the buying price at 240 tons right now:

And this is the selling price on location:

Just curious, how hard would it be for somebody (or rather, a lot of sombodies) to push tenche back into a boom state? (or do we not know the exact triggering factors yet?)

I think part of why tench worked so well is because they /produce/ PE's and didn't seem to really export them to a lot of places.

Besides, it could be fun.

No, only mods can change a thread title. Do tell me how if you are sure it's otherwise.

Try editing that first post :) Shold give you a big grey box with a little grey box, thought the little one was for title changes. I could be wrong! Wouldn't be the first time NOR the last /grin

Difficulty with that, is the stations are so darned far away to do missions/trade

What's the Influence % of Wapiya?

It would be fun if we had multiple (more than one) systems such as Tenche to switch between.

In addition to

  1. Boom state in high tech system
  2. Infinite supply of performance enhancers
  3. Traders are close to supplying station

Tenche also had

4. another station that matches 2 & 3 but is owned by another faction

Even if we did push Tenche back into boom state, there is no guarantee that the luxury traders will spawn so close to the station, assuming they spawn at a random distance from a station.

I LOVE this post. Reminds me of the struggle between traders and pirates and guys (and galls) I love you all! Let's show them pirates that traders DO work together! Cheers guys and I wish you all good trading!

Lately every time i see a luxeeking they ARE close to a station. But none of them produced PE's, thats why I was asking. ARE they random..? Have we ever seen a system go boom, no boom, then boom again?

Can lightning strike twice if we shove a rod in it? :)

Wapiya, Brothers Vision
I see 6922 for PE. 5367 low supply
:( no joy

26 supply now
I have feeling someone from FD is reading posts and turning off any good leads as they appear.

If PE buyers always spawn when a place is in boom, then in theory we can locate a system that hits all the criteria and create a boom there and sustain it.
