Yeah but I can't live with the fact that I'm making 50% of the money I made yesterday.
Imagine how it felt going from rares which was twice as profitable as luxuries to the broken ass early launch markets...

I don't know whether it was broken or not for sure... but what you are saying here isn't necessarily right. I don't think one person trading back and forth should be able to have a big enough impact on the economies to start chainging the supply and demand. Now if word gets out about a particularly lucrative trade route and a bunch of pilots all start trading like crazy, that's when the supply and demand should shift. One person shouldn't really be able to have much impact (assuming these are relatively wealthy thriving stations and not poor stations where small fluctuations can affect an economy). So I don't think it was necessarily broken just because you didn't see any change in your runs.
Naa, i dont agree, when a station only has 304 tons of a commodity and i doo 15 runs of that commodity and after 15 runs they still have exactly 304 tons in supply; id say thats broken, after three runs they should have ran out and i should have had to move on or wait a few hours while it restocked from NPC ships delivering new supply (which they dont do by the way)
So if your now saying it is running out, I say well done and its finally looking like theyre fixing stuff!
You are not trading my friend, just running some supplies between stations pretending to be in a free market, but actually have rigorously controlled prices on set bandwith limits. The last change just made it difficult to make any lasting profit from trading.I can't believe FD is forcing me to actually trade instead of run back and forth between A and B.
OP apparently thinks the most profitable trade route in the game should also sustain through hundreds of players doing it for weeks.
OP is wrong
Find a new route. I bet this time it won't get shared on the forum or on reddit, now that the supply can run out.
If anything, as said, it's a shame they did not fix this a month ago, when it was first discovered how good seeking luxuries outside high tech stations really are. Because this was not balanced income by any means, it was completely out of control.
Sure, trading needs some adjustments such as better ingame information, but first you must close these loopholes.
Yeeaahh lets all sit in our little part of the galaxy, never share anything, never interact. That sounds like fun (not). Your kind of thinking will kick the fun out any game.
Not if my dumbfires hit you first ;-)I'll interact with you via my railguns
They seem to have fixed the issue with the dynamic market, now things will shift and you'll actually have to put forth some effort into finding routes. This is good for the game.Yeeaahh lets all sit in our little part of the galaxy, never share anything, never interact. That sounds like fun (not). If what I have been reading is true it seems they have fixed the infinite trade issue. While I will admit have taken advantage of some of these trade routes I am glad to see thing becoming more "realistic". I think it fits more into the Elite Dangerous theme of this game is not easy street.
While I think one commander on a decent trade route with low traffic won't have to worry as much I think we all are going to be pushed out of our comfort zones.
I think it is all for the best
So my prediction is I will start to see more commanders in Haulers looking for new trade routes. Speaking of that where did I leave mine at...........
