Mac Support coming soon?

Interesting time for Frontier to be resurrecting the Mac client - especially as Apple are going to be using their own chips in future macs. Presume there must be a good business case for teaming up with Aspyr. Good to see anyway - time for me to 'upgrade' my 2009 mac pro to mojave - it's tinkering time! ;)
Is that possible with a little 'tinkering' and assistance from the Internet?

This may have been answered somewhere...but if you have already purchased for PC, will you be able to download onto MAC as well?

If you already own Planet Coaster on Steam, you will be able to play on Mac via Steam without an additional purchase, provided that your Mac meets the system requirements. If you don't want to play on Mac via Steam, Planet Coaster will also be available to purchase on the Mac App Store.

Has anybody else tried installing on Mac yet? I got it installed but it's telling me "Your current MacOS(Catalina) is unable to run 32-bit games" when I'm on the latest OS version Big Sur. I am unable to open the game. Any ideas on a fix??

I'm really confused about the 32-bit thing too. The system requirements in Steam clearly state 64-bit, but the Steam page is giving a warning that it's not compatible with new versions of MacOS. I'm on Big Sur and have about an hour left on my download but am not expecting that it'll open.

(The game is now in the Mac App Store with all the DLC and seems like it should run fine if I downloaded from there, so something seems off on the Steam side.)

EDIT: It's working now! Hooray!

Mine just finished downloading and is working on Big Sur!! I'm wondering if they fixed something while my download was happening. Maybe a re-download would fix it for you?

I'm having the exact same problem on Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7, and even doing a ''validate files'' doesnt fix this issue.

Still a no from me :(

Same Steam problem here. It will only download the soundtrack and digital art book. Will try again tomorrow and see if it’s sorted.

I just downloaded and installed from steam and each time I try and play I get the following error message

"An error occurred while updating planet coaster (missing Executable):

Library/application support/steam/steamapps/common/planet coaster/planet Coaster.app
