Like all design issues that have no logical means of operation the simplest answer to your question is:How do people get into the rotating section? There's no spokes rotating with it to allow transition from free-fall to stuck-to-surface. Do they just seal the crew in before spinning it up at launch?
They probably use the blue cylinder. How do people get into the rotating section? There's no spokes rotating with it to allow transition from free-fall to stuck-to-surface. Do they just seal the crew in before spinning it up at launch?
Oh she's obviously a hologram, the real question is who's got the remote.A sideways version of a revolving door with a sufficient width (and toroidal rotation velocity) to allow access at certain intervals perhaps as access hatches line up. In battle the ring should lock shut to these points (The Patreus Edict 3302)*
*would have been quite a nice detail if the 'real' ones did this.
If the ring was a disc it would be easy peasy lemon to the squeezy easy as you could have access via the hub.
But in short Majestics use Aisling shoulder costume magic. I mean, how do her arms sit in there?
the real question is who's got the remote.
