Making money in the Milky Way

I'm looking to expand my fleet, get some variety in my hanger, but I'm short on cash.

What are some good, time efficient ways, to make good money out there in the wild black yonder.

Now before I catch flak for this let me clarify: I'm NOT asking for an exploit (although 300 mil an hour sound pretty time efficient to me :p). Just a way for me to make good money with out Elite becoming a second job.

No, I've been playing for a while, just not super active on the forum. I'm just looking to expand my total value in a way that wont eat up my entire life. Total assets currently around 900 mil, I have a corvette type 7 DBX and a chieftain worth their alt and a vulture awaiting engineering.

Apparently trade missions for wings is good at the moment use that type 7 or your Vette and solo them for a decent profit or hop in with a wing and earn some even better cash that way.

Wing missions with friends.

Otherwise, wander aimlessly until FDev figures out how they want their mission system to work.

One way to make alright money with not much time invested is to check out the community goals, sign up, rank to top 50% and then go do something else. Maybe stick in the area just for new sights.

Good money is also to be made in high value commodity boom missions, especially the elite ranking ones, can pay several million for some 150-200t to move one jump.

And if you're not adverse to leave your computer running while your an hour and a half in supercruise, go to Sol, load up in data missions to Alpha Centaury, Hutton Orbital. Millions to be made there.

Just about everything earns you money, so do whatever you find enjoyable and let the money come naturally as a side effect. Be sure to mix it up a bit and try different things for variety.

Alternatively, look for the fastest Cr/Hour activity and grind it until your eyeballs bleed and then come here to the forums to complain that the game is a boring grind.

Palin missions are back at Obsidian Orbital, but the payouts have neen seriously reduced to about 5% to what they were, so you can earn 1.7 M credits/run
