Mammoth Gravity Battles - 3D gravity Wars

In my spare time I am working on an indie game that might be of interest to all you space game fans. Its a variation on the space artillery/turn based strategy game "gravity wars", but in 3D with multiple weapons, a campaign mode and destructible planets. Development is going well, although everything takes so much longer than you would think. I just need to get it done before Elite Dangerous comes out, or I will get distracted...

May I be the first to say holy crap, that looks amazing!

I played the 2D flash version of Gravity Wars (or Gravitee Wars as I recall it being spelt) quite obsessively not too long ago as a sort of Worms flash game with a twist. I would certainly play a 3D version, and from the screenshots above, it looks like it would be astonishing!

I'm still working hard on this, these things take so much longer than you think don't they? So I've got a new demo up and working on the website:

The demo has five single player levels showing off a few different ways the game can be played. Three of the levels have 2D layouts which are considerably easier to play, especially to start with. Get good at those and you can try the harder 3D levels. It turns out that aiming in a 3D gravity field is extremely difficult, see what you think.
