That looks actually good, it reminds me of the animal atlas I loved to read in my younger years.
I hope that all the icons can be easily resized, because if we aren't pessimistic some of them are maybe too big. E.g., the eagle covering all the Iberian peninsula, or the tiger covering half of Sumatra (and we expect having a lot of Sumatran and SEA species).
Also, I would place the penguin slightly to the SW, more in the ocean, to leave room for more terrestrial species in the Namib-Kalahari area.
Yep, they are very easily resizable. I agree with you and I'm pretty sure I will have to downsize most of them because they will be from the same area as a consequence of the new reserves feature.

Barely even started and it already looks like Africa is running out of space...
I personally preferred the white ones

). The last one didn't quite convince me... parts of Russia and Alaska were missing... it didn't include New Zealand at all... or the missing
African lakes (which we hope will play a major role in PZ2). Let me know which of the three is your favorite.

The one in the middle is the best one since it's the easiest to read.
Maybe the second one is the best, but i like the colors of the third one, maybe with some filters will be better, but i really like the third one
