MA doesn't come close to Elite if you are looking for the best trilogy.... IMO
Mass Effect sucked. Totally unoriginal plot and they dumbed it down after the first game.

Nope. Play Star Control 2, it's the best Mass effect game. Or even Starflight 2.
So much hate for one franchise, a franchise that has been rewarded time after time. Mass Effect was rpg with action elements. The controls and the UI was very unintuitive. Mass Effect 2 however was near damn perfection with the rpg elements. It did lack the Mako unfortunately. But whatever it lacked it made up in other aspects twice as much.
ED is a space flight sim. Don't compare it to other ordinary sci fi games.

my perfect space game would be mass effect mixed with ED....all the great flying mechanics,but also a mix of exploring planets and ruins..ect...
The first mass effect was the best...(the mako!)...the scene where sheppard meets sovereign for the first time still sends shivers down my spine....then it all went a bit weird after that lol....Reapers never became what I magined them to be..
im also pledged with SC as I thnk they will make the sort of space game I like to imagine with every sort of gameplay imaginable.

Same here. However after seeing Mass Effect Andromeda trailers and reading about it, it seems that we will be getting a Mass Effect game mixed with ED free flight. I have *astronomical* hopes for ME4.
No gameplay in the trailer makes me extremely hesitant. Especially after the train wreck that 3 was.

I really hope for bigger open maps - like in latest Dragon Age. Since they using the Frostbite engine I hope for really good Mako exploration fun times! Also I need to see Asari dancers rendered in Frostbite

I really like the Mass Effect series, even 3. However Start Control 2 is a masterpiece of true awesomeness. I played the 3DO version back in the day (yep I actually owned a 3DO!) and The Ur-Quan Masters makes me happy
I loved the ME trilogy, including the last chapter. At least until the final scene. I'm not really interested in getting this one, since I'm aiming for SW:Battlefront, but I'll keep an eye on it
They will ruin it again if they listen to popular opinion. No way any game gets better by listening to the public. I want to play the designers game.
