Sunday is the 7th day because " On the 7th day he rested " and that was Sunday.
But it's ok , we'll get it when we get it =-)
Haha, yeah. Except the Sabbath was Saturday.
From Encyclopedia Brittanica:
The Jewish Sabbath (from Hebrew
shavat, “to rest”) is observed throughout the year on the seventh day of the week—Saturday. According to biblical tradition, it
commemorates the original seventh day on which God rested after completing the creation.
Then again from the Wiki:
Sunday is the
day of the
week between
Saturday and
Monday. In most Western countries, Sunday is a day of rest and a part of the
weekend, whereas in much of the rest of the world, it is considered the
first day of the week.
So it's not the same everywhere you go. Amusing, eh?
