Hi Commanders!
Not really being a noobie to Elite, it took quite a while, but now I started my first serious exploration tour.
Together with a friend, which might be highly useful in times of crises, we took off, both in well equipped ships, to go approximately 10k LY to the "East", then turn N to NE with destination Hawking´s Gap.
We will see, what we will find there, hand around exploring for a while, hopefully take some nice screenshots and return home safely - except a sudden fire rises within us and it takes us further out to the rim, as far as our ships stay healthy.
Running a tour like this, it seems very helpful, to find a tool to log the tour in some way, maybe even draw the route and waypoints to a map.
I searched for a while, but did not quite find anything, that jumped to me at once.
There are a lot of tools, but most of them semm to be route-planners, which I don´t search for, I do the navigation on my own.
If you have any hints or suggestions, they would be highly welcome.
