Well she decapitated a rat yesterday.

It was running away, got its head stuck in the fence... she grabbed it and "pop".

Seriously, she's like a little canine serial killer.

Well... that's good, no?

I mean, I'm not complaining. Just a fun story to tell around the campfire.

That's at least two rats and a pigeon. And one of my other girls got herself a rat a while back.

I live in the middle of the city. It's not like there's a shortage of them.

I do not see anything funny here.

Rather cruel like history.

Not funny. Fun, as in interesting.

She's a dog. Dogs chase and catch and kill things. Sometimes things chase and catch and kill dogs.

There is no morality or immorality to it. It is primal nature.

Mini pinscher perchance?
They're made for killing rats.
As far as little dogs go, they're great.
Trained my sheltie to go after the tree rats (squirkels).
She didn't need much prodding.

I still do not see the interest story to tell this around the campfire.

She's a little 40lbs yellow lab mix of some kind. Super fast and agile.

When the other dogs have made catches, it has always been more of a "zigged when it should have zagged" thing. For her though, she's like a bullet.

Two jack russels here...the original and still the best rat catchers...and ball catchers...and anything else that appeals to canine adhd ^

I remember.
And as usual my cat caught another pigeon ten days ago. And again, it looked like someone had shot a pillow at close range in the alleyway down the side of my house.
