Newcomer / Intro Mercenary edition Eagle ship availability?

Hi,

I was able to find my Eagle, however I have a query:
Will it always be available to me when I start a new game (after getting blown up in more or less humiliating fashion) or is it once off offer only?

If you clear your save and restart from scratch, then your Freagle should still be available (I think).

I would like to know this as well. It took me so long to finally find the Eagle I sure don't want to lose it and have to search for it again. Can anyone answer this question with assurance?
