It was an awesome launch. Kudos CMDR Yanick o7

No idea why my ship jumped that fast (Red Asp - first one to jump). I pushed on Throttle *after* on the "engage".

As it turned out I've charged for SC instead, so I still got to witness the rest of the commanders jump to the first system :)

Do you have a schedule for arrival at Waypoint 4 (Eos Brai KR-W e1-4 (Osprey Stellar Remnant) ?

Cheers,

Drew.

Reminder: High-G Club meet at 00:00 UTC on Thursday -- which is about 20 hours from now.....

Since the opportunity is squarely in the middle of the route to Waypoint 1...

I'm calling a meeting of the High-G Landing Club, again at The Mighty.

Time: Thursday, March 09th at 00:00 Game Time
System: Kyloalks DL-Y G17
Planet: 4
Landing Coordinates: -24.068, -106.065 (Banner's Landing)

Any pilots interested in joining the heaviest club in the galaxy can visit the registration desk. But you have to land intact to do so. :)

The Mighty has a surface gravity of 9.9G. Approach with caution. You may want to review the thread from the last Club meeting, which includes a number of training videos.

See you on the ground, Commanders.

Looks like I won't be able to make it at that time. And I was so looking forward to it. [sad]

Phew! think I got away with that...

I probably won't make the push to WP1 (WP2?) until Friday evening or Saturday....

Happy to wing you down!

I'll see if I'm in the vicinity early Friday evening. If I am I'll seek you out. Should be time to reach WP1 by Sunday even if I die.

Not tried a high-G landing with the T16000 throttle yet...

I'm planning to meet up at WP3. Winging my way in from The Abyss...still not got back from DWE.

The promise of M7 has been the spur I needed to get back to the lower half of the Galaxy.

Just 19.3 kylies to go now. At 45 julies this will be 869 more jumps.

Type-6: streaking south like the Northern Bullet.

Decided not to wait:

I'll be in bed by midnight.

Now, do we have get away safely to join your club? ;)

EDIT: Made it away. Overheated a bit high waking out of there at 9.9G, but hey, that's why I carry chaff launchers, to absorb that kind of damage :)

Last night, Cmdr Yanick pinned the details of the following podcast to the M7E Discord conversation:

"Space Rocket History" and its associated website: www.spacerockethistory.com. The podcast can be found in the Search function of my podcast application (IOS) so I assume it will appear in other podcast browsers.

The first ten episodes can only be obtained through the Archive Podcast menu on the website but episodes 11-200 are available through the podcast browser. Narrator has a great voice for listening.

Well worth a listen. I am hooked! Currently working my way through the early 20th Century and the period of the war. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Flying happy
