Powerplay Faction: Aisling Duval Merits via combat where?

So I'm trying to get the prismatic shields, much like anyone aligned to her, but I'll be honest. I'm not exactly big on powerplay or wanting to deal with the harassing NPCS that come with it. That said I know a lot of you folks enjoy your Powerplay and are trying to establish your sides power in the galaxy.

So in order to prevent screwing you guys up like trying to waste time expanding into other systems or fortifying systems you don't want. What system are you guys wanting or do you want enemy faction npc's killed in? Keep in mind I'm not trying to anger the Empire, or the Federation, or the Alliance, but I will do what I must to avoid wasting money on media materials to bring a single system over. I'd rather test my new Corvette out on something worth shooting.

So where can I farm Powerplay Merits for Aisling? Which system should I be hunting other powerplay NPCs in? And in the future how do I find these on my own?

Thanks for your time.

Most folk who are just farming merits go to an opposing faction system that has an anarchy control system. Tat way the can farm away without getting wanted or having to del with cops.

Edit - I am not an Aisling Pledge.just trying to help you out

This link should be fairly accurate list of and you can sort it easily by putting your current location in to the 'reference system' field.

Welcome to the Aisling ranks. Cori regularly posts the weekly objectives in the sticky thread just above this. She lists fairly consensus Aisling target systems for fortification or prep.

I'm bad at this stuff and figuring out that website you linked is confusing (I'm only used to using it for planet surface materials). I just wanted someone to tell me a system to go shoot stuff in till I get my 750 merits.

Like I said, I'm not actually part of her. I don't like any of the powerplay factions, I just like their rewards, that said I don't want to mess up people who are actually having fun with powerplay which is why I just wanted to be told "go to X system and kill stuff" (even better if the planet with the military zone or whatever is listed). That way I can do my thing without actually messing up Powerplay for others. I still have to pay arrissa, li yong rui, and a few others a visit too and get their powerplay materials.

He. But I know the avatar is confusing.

Anyway, if you want to fight for merits - we don't publish targets on the forum. They're kept on the Slack.

That said, you can easily head for some enemy power's control system and farm them. It won't work with fellow Imperial powers - you'll lose merits instead. And we currently don't attack "Chuckles" Grom under the ZYADA Treaty.

For maximum ease pick an Anarchy. Use the website Ben linked, pick an enemy Power or Powers, select "Control" as the PowerPlay type and Anarchy as the Government type. Select where you currently are as the reference system and you'll get a list in order of distance from you. Make sure to check on the Galactic Map that the system is currently Anarchy just to be sure.

Once you're done head for the nearest Aisling control system to cash in your merits.

Alright thanks! I've even gotten a few private notes giving some helpful advice too so at least now I can put my ship to good use.

ok but that i dont understand
how do i know they are the enemy?
do you have a example of this so i can go there and see how this works

at the moment i am in CEARESI this is a anarchy system but it say alied power
so maybe someone has a example somewhere nearby

I'm perplexed by this. I'm in Kui Xing, an Archon Delaine-controlled Anarchy. I just destroyed two Kumo Crew Transport (pledged to Archon Delaine) ships, and got nothing for it. Anything obvious I've done wrong?

Edit: Now a Federal Agent (Zachary Hudson, was wanted) and a Kumo Crew Watch ship. Still not a single merit.

Edit 2: oh. I hadn't read anywhere that there's no indication you've gained a merit until you go to a Control system and check the Power Contact. Not sure why I gained 3x30 and not 4x30 though, but that's not a big deal. Seems Zachary Hudson didn't count.

You should see the amount of merits you've collected in the same list as bounty vouchers on the left handside cockpit panel. You may have to scroll down and peer intently till you see it if you've got a decent sized list.

grabbing this old thread...i was interested to find out if i can get the 10k merrits for aisling by killing some filicia winters agents. i am in a winters controlled system with anarchy. i killed her agents and i didnt get any merrits. did anything change since then?

in the powerplay control panel - undermining it says "weaking can only be realised if trigger value is reached" and its full red. same for every system. is that because i am on console legacy and nobody is doing powerplay anymore and i cant undermine anywhere?

legacy/horizons 3.8 console

Yes, you should be able to do that. If you’re just getting the prismatic shields you only need 750 merits (which would save you some time!)

Maybe try relogging and going back to the rating tab under the Aisling Duval power menu and see if they show up?

no, doesnt work. no chance of undermining anywhere. seems its broken since nobody is doing any powerplay anymore on console side. i will ditch it and just do the 750...

You need to be in a powerplay CONTROL SYSTEM. Undermining still works in the legacy galaxy.
i was in a felicia winters controlled system and i killed agents. i got no merrits. i checked every aisling duval system and every undermining tile was red and basically said there is nothing going on. so please show me how it would work, if i am too stupid to get it

you are on console legacy - a parked program. in stasis. now a painting.

lucky it works at all, it is as is.

why not just buy the merits?
it is how I have done it since 2014, not one shot fired, ever. for merits.

We have new targets for this coming week (until January 5th). Last week we had no combat targets owing to the AX war truce. But powers cannot always prevent themselves attempting an expansion owing to the voting mechanism. This week you can shoot Winters pledged NPCs in Caspatsuria or Antal pledged NPCs in Unjangen.
