<snip> OR they could hand responsibility to the community for them to police it - but that comes with a whole heap of issues.
have you all reported him via the in-game report system?
I see some really silly comments here.
This is a station blockade. Lave station is closed for business until further notice.
- Absolutely no hacks
- No "silent running"
- Lots of chaff
- SCB's
- Staying power.
- Missiles.
Pop pop pop.... BOOM.
Reinforcements are on their way.
I know you can't name him, but his name didn't have 1 letter followed by 1 number did it?I hopfully won't get into trouble here for saying that his name is two letters. I hasten to add that he's not the only one, there are at least two others that I know of.

You don't even need to go solo. If you approach the station an see lots of dumbfires on radar, just exit out and rejoin open - it will most of the time put you in another instance. Problem solved.
He just posted above.
It's <Please no public naming and shaming on the Frontier forums, thanks ~Brett C>
I'm not sure it's so much that - hacking is rife in just about all online games, it's literally a plague that nobody can really fix.. I gave up comp counterstrike because of it, in BF it drove me nuts, it goes back as far as Quakeworld... the fact that people are hacking in ED is entirely predictable, and it's entirely predictable that nobody can really do anything about it..
they could spend a year re-designing everything and it still wouldn't work, OR they could hand responsibility to the community for them to police it - but that comes with a whole heap of issues.
ROFL - he just named himself!!!

Hi everyone,
Just a quick reminder that you should report instances (as people already have been) through support tickets. We will then investigate the ticket and take the appropriate action. We won't ignore cheating, or take it lightly.
Cheers!
