Metro Last Light Redux free on GOG

Metro Last Light Redux is free today on GOG, I never got the redux when it came out because I had the original and I have an aversion to buying the same game twice.

It's a great game, very hard even on modern systems

I got Metro 2033 and Last light redux versions + DLC in a £15 two for one package quite a few years ago. The advantage being they fully rebuilt Metro 2033 using the newer game engine used for Last light. I still play through both on occasion.

I'm replaying all 3 games now I have the redux ones. Just finished 2033. I must say the the Ranger hardcore mode has possibly the stupidest design decision I've ever seen in a game. Quick time events but because the HUD is turned off it doesn't tell you you're in a quick time event.

So basically if you die for no reason try spamming the E key next time....


That Library level is awesome though!
