As i mentioned earlier, i know where my machine have its limits and until November the 17.th i´ll work on this project from now on.
Plan is, to make a small and compact version of my own "Disneyland" inspired by the original park itself. My goal is, to built a park which is running smoothly with around 4.000 guests and detailed buildings. Some attractions may be changed to other ones, but i try to stay mostly in realism.
Phase 1:
After a long thought, i decided to use the desert map and painted it green. The background will probably not fit that well, but to use the terrain and terrain painting is in my opinion the better decision as to use 5.000 single rocks. The terrain is already optimized with LOD instances in Planet Coaster and it makes it possible to create easily some of the remarkable things and landscaping in a Disneyland´ish park. Of course: Big Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain and the Matterhorn will be much easier to built as with scenery, too.
Next Phase will be to lay out path and areas.
