Mini Zoo Building Contest!

Finally started yesterday. Late, but at least I started. Finished 1 habitat and was starting the 2nd, but it got too late for me so I had to stop. Hopefully I'll get some more done...

Made my own island and added an entrance today. Now I just have to figure out what animals/layout. So far just have Binturongs that I am for sure adding.
Day 1

Heyo qucik question: Is it allowed to use exhibit animals not native to islands as stand ins? Say the eastern blue tongue skink to represent the indonesia blue tongue skink? or the boa constrictor as the madagscan dumerils boa?
Asking because there really are only like a handfull of island fitting exhibit animals

Yes, replacement exhibit species are allowed. 🙂

I'm ready to submit my screenshots...

Welcome to Island Adventures, a zoo with a beautiful collection of island species. Let's begin the tour, shall we?

Here is an overview shot of the zoo, taken with a state of the art drone...

A welcoming sign, bringing in the multitudes...

When you walk in, you're immediately greeted by our Galapagos giant tortoises. Do stop by and say hello...

To the left, you will find our southern cassowaries, Stevie and Sheila. We have a double fence, to ensure that no harm comes to our guests...

A little bit further up the path, you can find our Tasmanian devils. The habitat was originally built for another species, but because that didn't come to fruition, we have filled it with a pack of 4 devils. You can better view them in a special viewing dome...

Right by the devils, you will find out huge flock of little penguins. A large group of 24, they are always having some fun in the sun...

Stay tuned for part 2...

Part 2:

Next to the penguins is our very VIP enclosure, with a family of orangutans and siamangs. To ensure they have complete privacy, the only way to observe them is through a trio of viewing domes...

A little further, rounding the corner and across the tortoises, we have our fossa habitat. Felana the fossa really steals the show with her antics...

And in the very center of it all, our lovely kiwi house, sponsored by Jonathan Williams. Our pair of kiwis are happily enjoying their private enclosure, with wonderful darkness and an overgrown look...

Thank you for visiting the zoo. We hope that, with your visit, we can further protect many of these endangered species.

P.s. Ok, y'all, I was.on Discord chatting with some friends when I took these screenshots, and the Teal Music bot (renamed to Nerd Music) was playing, and I didn't realize. I also wanna state that my current graphics card is 2gb and almost murdered my computer

I’m curiuos, what was this species?

It's such a cool idea do a mini zoo contest, I would like to participate but I can't do a zoo in a short time hahaha, I always try to do the best of myself always, in fact after almost 2 years of playing PZ I only have 6 zoos and 2 of them are my firsts and OG zoos, the next time could be :)
