Mini Zoo Building Contest!

Hello all!

Since DLC season is right around the corner, I thought I would start a little contest to keep us occupied.

This contest is a Mini Zoo building contest, and participants will build a mini zoo based off of the Temperate biome, because that is the most popular guess as to what the Fall DLC is at the moment.

Contest Rules:

. Maximum of 10 habitat animals and unlimited number of exhibit animals
. Maximum of a 700 meter perimeter, or about 30k square meters.
. All animals must live in the Temperate biome.
. Share completed zoo screenshots on this thread for your entry. Deadline is September 19th, 2023.

I won't be competing due to other time constraints, but I look forward to seeing what's submitted! This is a great idea and for many may make the time up to the announcement - whenever that may end up being - feel not as long

I'm super slow at building zoos because of both límited spare time to play and skill level lol so i won't be competing but i'm curious about the contest entres and see what everyone makes.

Would love to but there’s no way I’ll be able to finish a zoo in 2 weeks, it’s impossible. If I had more time or the due date gets pulled back until after the DLC releases so we can use the new temperate animals (assuming that’s what it is) I’ll share any exhibits I make for my current zoo that are for temperate animals though!

With my present work life balance it is hard to find the time to really chill in Planet Zoo. I plan on entering though! I might make a Franchise zoo out of this contest.

Thanks for the reminder. Dumb question: do exhibit animals also need to be temperate only?
