Missing station announcements

I've already noted this in the issue tracker, but that doesn't tell me whether I'm the only one and the problem is my end...

Does anyone else find that some spoken station announcements (the ones telling you your assigned pad number) have ceased since the update?

I hope this isn't permanent as those were a nice piece of immersion. I admired the way the numbers were strung together as if naturally spoken.

It is a resurgence of the docking computer bug. The auto-docking approval message only comes after the docking computer engages, the docking approved message is missing. So just having a DC fitted but not engaged / powered off stops that announcement happening at all.

They obviously built the April Update release off an old buggy build that still had the issue in it.

P.S. If it is happening even if you don't have a DC fitted then it is the game's way of telling you to fit one of their new modules!


EDIT: Just checked and it is only if the DC is powered that the approval message is absent. The message sequence is correct if no DC fitted or if a DC is fitted but powered off.
