Post U16, I can’t seem to find any of these missions anymore. I have tried multiple systems with all the different Thargoid war states with no luck. I must be daft, extremely unlucky, or doing something obviously wrong. What’s the criteria to find these missions? Any help is appreciated.

You will only find them in populated alert systems that haven't been completed for the week.
At the time of writing that would be Vucumatha (98%, practically finished), Balak (82%) or Bi Dhorora (74%).

Thanks for the reply, and I believe you, because I thought the same thing. Believe it or not, just before writing this post, I literally checked stations in those systems that you mentioned, as well as many stations in system’s under different thargoid war states. I must have been very unlucky. There were normal missions in the Alert systems but no thargoid related missions. At least I know that I was in the right places. Thanks again.
One other thing: make sure you look in the thargoid category of the mission board and not the all category.
The UI can only show 75 missions at a time and since the thargoid missions are last, they will not be shown if you look under all and there are at least 75 transport/supply missions.
