Ship Builds & Load Outs Module visualisation - Strange

Everytime i am on that outfitting interface, i cannot get rid of the feeling that FDev Artists are beeing lazy there.

Things i don't understand from an artists standpoint:

  1. Weapons retracting into the ship, when beeing replaced, then the new one comes out only a few seconds later.
    I would expect it the other way round. The weapon comes out, a robotic arm grabs the old one, and mounts the new one.
  2. Most weapons are mounted on a very thin mount, with no visual cables or ammo feeds.
  3. 3-Rail Railguns? is that even possible?
  4. one mesh used for KWS, Cargo scanner, Shield booster and Heatsink
  5. 18 small tubes on c2 missile racks, when they have to reload every 6 shots.
  6. DBX Large mount able to fit turreted C3 Lasers, but the landing gear is not long enough to support that.
  7. C1 and C3 cannons look similar, C2 looks different
 
1) Yes, that sounds awesome
2) Yes, more cables
3) Ever fired one? I don't think they are actually 'railguns'
4) Yes, pls pls pls fix.
5) Yes, pls fix
6) That would drive me absolutely insane
7) Yes. More variation is more better.
 
1) I believe the new model is loading in this time.

5) Something probably got changed a while back and dear god I hope it gets unchanged.
