Moon - When Will it be landable?

I'm sure the surface of the moon must have been 3D mapped and that this info is available digitally.

To think of an accurate 3D rendition of the moon, a literally open world playable game... that would be amazing. Many people would call that a game in itself.

I really hope this can be done, soon.

All in all it is time to get on the further development and I am hoping big for a first statement in january 2019.

We all waited too long for real Content like Landable moon, moving around in the spaceship or atmo planets like mars (vulcanic planets was planned for the horizon season)... if early 2019 will not bring any infos I will look into other games.

I do respect the amount of work they have to do but they should also respect our patience! So many things delayed no further info on that topics, we earned something great for 2019!

The moon doesn't need to be accurate lol its over a 1000 years in the futture, all the sites could have been smashed already, there could be a big "CHA" burnt into its face which is why class 4mining lasers are banned now haha

Once we get planets with procedural cities, then you will be able to land. We need advanced procedurals for this. Way more optimizations and way more optimizations and way more optimizations and then bit more optimizations.

Once you start dealing with meaningful large scale city generation, you probably will need DX12/Vulkan features, since you'll be using drawcalls like beer in frat party.
