Most and least favorite ships.

Well, I've not had many but here's what I have so far:

Favs:
  1. The Krait MKII - Good at several things and I now own 2 of them. Love it. That engine sound makes me happy.
  2. DiamondBack Explorer - When you use it for that last word it's actually really impressive. Nimble, easy to park and big range.
  3. Keelback - Good little ship that can do pretty well at mining and doesn't handle like a complete pig.
  4. Asp Explorer - Good solid ship, but not exciting anywhere. It's view is pretty hard to beat though.

Not Favs:
  1. Sidewinder - A bag of three week old vomit is more appealing.
  2. Cobra MKIII - Just.... "meh". I didn't like sitting in it, or looking at it.
  3. Adder - Don't like the space-shuttle look, HATE the engine noise, and it pops like a soap bubble.

I'm saving up for an Anaconda, because I'm in Colonia and not ranked up for the Corvette. Don't expect to love it very much but it seems like a good GP ship and I can always trade it off once I get back to the bubble and grind some Fed rank.

Favorites
1. Viper mk3 - that’s where the fun started (reminds me of my first car, little hatchback)
2. DBX - that’s where the galaxy became a bit smaller (now krait phantom is used for that role)
3. Python - that’s where the credits started flowing in

Least favorite
asp ex - even sounds like a$&

my favorites:

Anaconda - does it all, looks good, has a SLF, no rank grind
Krait mkII - same as above but can land on medium pads. it's like a python and cobra had a baby that was raised by a keelback. love the bridge too, detailed and not oversized
Keelback - another good multirole ship but for a smaller budget, and i love the design
Vulture - a really good small combat ship
Eagle - looks great, cheap, maneuverable and fast
Adder - a good looking cheap multirole ship, the first ship i bought

The cobra mkIII and python would have been on there in the past, but they got demoted by the Krait. The FDL and cutter look nice too, but i haven't flown them yet.

Of the ships i have flown, I guess the sidewinder sucked and the DBX was underwhelming. Of the ones i haven't flown, here a few that i think will stay that way:

Type 10 - it's the spoiler lol...so ugly. I'd buy it otherwise
Type 6 - ugly, weak, sad! not a keelback
Hauler - why buy a hauler when you can buy an adder
Clipper - looks great from some angles but looks weirdly proportioned from others, is imperial, too fat, too shiny

Favourites:

Cutter
Fer-de-Lance
Krait MKII

Disliked:

Anaconda
Asp Explorer
Vulture
Python.

I own or have owned all these ships, and I've seriously tried my best to get used to/not dislike/engineer the living bejeezus out of the Anaconda, Asp E, Vulture, and Python, but to no avail. I just don't like flying any of them.

I guess it's partly because I skipped the Vulture on my way to Combat Elite. I went straight from the Imperial Clipper to the Fer-de-Lance, and I haven't looked back since. Bought the Vulture later on because everyone kept raving about how great it was back in the day, but even with engineering it just feels lackluster.

The Anaconda was another letdown. I had the Cutter already when I bought it, and it just felt sluggish, even with A-rated G5 DD thrusters.

I have most of the ships in the game 25 and counting. Hate the 'Conda and I don't even have one and never will, simply because a lot people do have one and I'm sick to death of seeing them, soulless barges at best.

I do like the DBX, Asp (love the noise it makes, been to the centre of the galaxy with it), Krait Phantom, turned mine into a mining ship, Cobra III, simply because it does everything. Oh and the Beluga, just because almost everyone else hates it

Cobra MK3/4 - so much versatility, super low cost.
Krait MK2 - so much versatility, can even do fighter bays, you can nearly do everything at the same time (except mining, too specialist tools wise) with one load out
Imperial eagle - just great fun to fly in combat for next to zero rebuy.
Federal gunship - dakka.
Diamond back scout - small, fast, cold, fun.

Least favourite:
Fer de Lance/mamba/all the alliance ones- low jump range and/or too specialist
All the huge ships (vette, cutter, type 10, anaconda) - bulky and annoying to fly.
Entire liner range - I just dont want to fly a taxi.
Federal drop ship - just slow and boring

Well, of the ones I have flown.
Faves;
both Krait ships, handle well enough and good viewing for long trips. Good internals
Asp X as I spent such a long time in one. Wonderful cockpit and view.....from the inside at least.
Eagle for the fun.
Least fave:
Cutter. Never took to it. My last one is still probably slowing down as I type.
Vulture, the 'power capacity exceeded' special.
I guess it's improved since then.

Favorite ship? Whatever I happen to be flying at the moment, and having fun with.

Least favorite? My whole fleet that's sitting back at port missing out.

Favorite for practical or completely superfluous reasons like looks or "immersion factor":
Krait both variants, Courier, Orca, Cutter(don't even own one now), FAS, Mamba, Cobra both variants, Adder, Anaconda, FGS, iEagle.
Least favorite:
Most Lakon ships especially T-* line, special mention for ASPX for ruining many great screenshots, Clipper, Python, Beluga, Vulture.
