Dumb question...

It says that the most users online was 62 in 2008.... how long have these forums been up... have I been missing something?

The forum was originally set up in 2006, and there is a few members from that time still around. I was just a lurker back then myself. I hope that 2008 record will soon be smashed to bits though once everyone on the kickstarter page moves over to the forums.

Funny it says 814 in 2008 when I look at it. Can't even remember why it was so busy that day. Old age creeping up on me.

The average for a long while was about 10!!!!

Sometimes the forums can come under attack by search engines hitting the site all at once or some sort of large announcement going out. There's also the chance that something on the site was posted to reddit or some other large community website that pulled in such a load of users. I personally do not recall the reason why its at 800+.
