Multiple commanders on one account

Im curious why this hasnt been implemented yet
and what i mean by multiple commanders on one account is literally just that
having one frontier account and multiple commanders on said account instead of having to purchase two copies of the game

Is it for BGS reasons?
maybe to save data space on end users PC's? (although its miniscule i guess it could matter)
whats the deal? and if there is no problem with adding this, why dont they?

Im willing to bet this has been suggested before, but i cant find any threads on it, or just havent searched hard enough.

As long as you also have to pay for those multiple accounts Also and they can't share credits between each account and we can merge the other accounts into 1.

It would of been a good idea to use the search feature before posting a topic.

It's probably so FDev can make a bit of extra cash from 2nd+ CMDRs.
You need to buy the game, plus the expansion again, and any cosmetics you want on your second+ CMDR.

From their perspective, there's no financial incentive to allow multiple CMDRs per account, which share cosmetics and expansions.
But, it would limit the ability to multibox somewhat.

But, if you really do want this feature, play on Xbox or PS4 to your heart's content. On your home console you can have as many cmdrs as you can think up silly names for your accounts...
