My Animal Dream List

My "dream list" at the moment mostly consists of birds. I'd really like some quintessential birds to cover lakes, ponds, etc.
  • Mute swan.
  • Mallard.
  • White-faced whistling duck.
  • Grey heron.
  • Cattle egret.
  • Great white pelican.
  • Canada goose.
  • Greylag goose.
  • Black swan.
There are a handful of Oceania-specific ones I'd like, too, but I'd consider any of the above a boon to the game no matter how "boring" they seem on the surface. I'd just love to be able to create a big lake in the zoo, throw a null barrier around it, allocate a small area for feeding, and fill it with waterfowl.

Other animals I badly want are ones I still think we're going to get.
  • Capybara.
  • Asian small-clawed otter.
  • Hamadryas baboon.
  • Amur leopard.
  • Caracal.
  • Siamang (or, at this point, any gibbon).
  • Addax.
And then a few I badly want but don't think we'll get.
  • North Island brown kiwi.
  • Sumatran rhinoceros.
  • Little blue penguin.
There are of course more but who wants ten pages of animals?

Orangutans require brachiation too. Zt2 had gibbons with no brachiation just an enrichment animation
ZT2 didn't have climbing at all in that way I'd say.

Yes, gibbon wouldn't "require" brachiation, as they can walk on their feet alright and can walk on climbing post. But to me, it's almost like saying 'meerkat doesn't actually require digging' or 'tigers/jaguars wouldn't require diving'. Sure they'd work just fine but as you watch them, you'll constantly feel that something big is missing.

I'd say gibbon is best added WITH brachiation and with that adding brachiation to orangutan, IF it's possible though.

If anyone like to see that kind of list, here's mine and I wasn't sure whether these could last and/or breed in captivity in real-life or not.
  1. any mantis species
  2. tiny mice and rats (if anyone like)
  3. naked mole rats (their exhibit will be like underground)
  4. stag beetles
  5. rhino beetles
  6. hercules beetles
  7. geckos
  8. cobras
Planet Zoo didn't have those (yet).
Also chameleons. I forgot.

I finally updated this. It's crazy how many animals from my list Frontier added. Still a lot of great ones up there though.
