I'm a big JWE 1 veteran and played it a lot and now i play JWE2 since the release and I want to give a constructive feedback
First I want to say, you guys have my respect for this beautiful game. You realised many wishes of the community and its a step forward in every sight compared to JWE 1.
Now my detailed feedback:
Positives:
-better graphics, sharper vision and textures (JWE 1 looked so unsharp and washy)
-more accurate remodels for every dinosaur. Big thanks for this!
-marines and air reptiles. You made it with this!
-new funktions, like medicine and personalmamagement (but please, DONT get more focus on this, because the Dinosaurs should be the focus.)
-many new buildings and customazation things.
-new bahavior and animations. I totaly love this.
-many new datails in the game, like the umbrella of the quest when it rains or the JP3 song in the ranger car or the ring call off eaten vistors when they get eaten. Great!
Negatives:
-the colour filter of the game is so "grey" and sometimes the colours are to washed.
-massive framedrops on xbox series x on the big maps (germany), even by less dinosaurs and buildings.
-challangemode nerf: why you limited the dinosaurs of only harbivores in germany...I mean, its the biggest map.
-no unlock of every Item and dinosaur in sandbox mode. I rushed trough the challange and campaign mode, just to unlock everything. Thats not nive playing.
-I think the game ist a bit to hard. I think the focus are the dinosaurs and i cant focus on it, because all the time something happen or the time of challange mode gets me.
-campaign mode is for me an endless turtorial of the new functions. I think its cool that you make a turtorial for the new things, but I think that shouldnt be the campaign. And I dont like to hunt and protect wild dinos. I wanted to create a jurassic world, with quests and management. For me, the campaign failed. Sorry frontier
-the idea of wild dinosaurs over the world is not my favourite. Because I like the idea of the JP movie, that our park has exclusive attractions and the quests come all over the world to us.
-less animations and behavior: As I said i like the bew animations. But there are to less. Most of the time the dinosaurs just walking slowly arround. It is only 1 more behavior animation with other same types for evry dinosaur. I think we need very more animations for the dinos. Maybe 5 same animations of same dinosaur types, example carnotsurus and giganotosaurus has the same 5 random animations and every one has 2 more signature animation, like the carnotaurus tackling there heads together. Maybe brachiosaurus signature could be to stand up on the back legs and roaring like in the first jp movie Maybe more animations, that interact more with the area, example tackling rocks or quests sights glass, playing in the water, shaping on trees etc.
-to less roaring of the carnivores and if they do, there jaw is NOT wide open, just a bit.
-inaccurate carcharodontosaurus model. Mabye we could get an alternate model or skin.
-single tree postion from JWE 1.
-boneless tails of the dinosaurs
