My first ELW!

And I had 36 on the trip I just turned in....the only one that was like the first was the system that had 3 (more of a surprised disbelief feeling - then excited as I realized that there really were 3)

First undiscovered ELW for me was an amazing feeling that the rest came close to - but the first is always the most memorable

Congrats Cmdr, my first one, i parked by it for an hour, and then spent the night there, a few thou Ls away that is lol

Congrats, CMDR!!! Did you fly to the dark side to see if there were any lights? I do that for every one I find.

And you found a nice looking ELW! Great cloud formation in the lower left side of the picture.

I did scan the land on the light side but didn't wait around for it to rotate too much...will have to go back and have a look when the darkside is lit.

There were some funky land forms. A couple of islands that had very smooth coastlines - didn't look natural so I wonder if it is a bit of a glitch in the landmass-forming routine of FD...

Also some cool mountains right in the middle of a land mass, the ridges forming almost hexagons.

I will show more pics when I get a chance.

Yes DiddleDum...I did exactly that...hoping, but disappointed. No lights.

It's kind of why I blanked out the system name Cmdr Akira...I'm not planning on heading back into the bubble too soon and I don't want to give up first dibs on the world ;)
