My first ELW!

It finally happened! I found my first, previously uncharted Earth-like world. Now, since I've signed up to EDSM it does actually say I'm first-discoverer of a few others, but only by their records; every ELW I've so far come across has already been tagged. But now, far out in the Norma Expanse en route from the DSSA Glomar Explorer to the DSSA King's Pass I've found one and I'm proud as punch :D

Orbiting the secondary M-class red dwarf Eock Flyi JP-A c3-8 B with an orbital period of just 10.1 days, I'd actually just adjusted my route plotting filter to shorten my travel time when I dropped in system. Now that I'm 1.6kly out from the Glomar I was about to stop looking for interesting systems and just jump-honk-jump to get back to the Bubble before the end of... next year? Ha! But seriously, the scale of the game is just magnificent.

So, in my amateur excitement allow me to present to you Eock Flyi JP-A c3-8 B 2, which upon my arrival at the DSSA King's Pass I shall be petitioning the Universal Cartographics agent to register as Alastriona, in honour of my CMDR.

And the obligatory cosmic vista...

Keep flying, fellow cosmic pioneers!

Please note if any of you other space nuts rush out there and tag it before I can sell the data, I swear to Crom I will bury you in salt ;)

1.: Congrats! The 1st ELW is (and always will be) something special
2.: Not everybody in game uses EDSM. So no wonder that you have more ELW's there than in-game

Congratulations on your first! May it be the first of many.

And quite a nice one to tag first - they're quite rare around class M (in fact, in the rare category of @marx 's ELW bucket list)

Thanks CMDR, o7! And yes, up until a couple jumps ago I was filtering out M-class and smaller because I was sick and tired of so many ricey bodies! But scrapping the route filtering shaved about 20 jumps off this leg of my journey home. And then I bumped into this beauty and spent an evening drifting around the system :geek: the primary star is a K-class, but the ELW is orbiting the secondary M-class. It's not a bad system to be fair, a trio of THMC, a TWW, and an ammonia world; should be just the nudge I need to finally push that Explorer rank to Elite when I eventually get to a carrier to sell!

That's only if the primary is M, this one's got a K primary with an M secondary - those aren't nearly so rare.
Yes, I missed that in original. That said, ELW and AW in same system is pretty uncommon too in my experience :)
