My project about what Elite could (or should) be like

Honestly, with 'retelling others' ideas,' I really went overboard. I was just putting ideas into ChatGPT, translating them into 'non-conversational' language, editing, then translating to English and editing again. And I kept reworking the formatting over and over. But I bet that while you were playing, you thought to yourself, 'What if...'. I developed that idea as far, as possible.
Yes but like many of my responses to forum posts I waited some time then deleted them rather than post them for all to see.

It is fine to have what if the game was like this but just because I love the idea of getting it to feel more like the old series Space Patrol with its Galaspheres doesn't mean that anyone else would be remotely interested.

1. Isn't it the basic function of devs to change entire game if needed?
2. Isn't it the best way to say "sorry" for all those grindyears?
3. The Elite is already intellectual property, I don't want ctrl c/v, we work with what we have.
4. Do you really think they where hard working with PP all this years, considering the current state approved by main devs?

Ad 1. Maybe, but it's not for you to decide.
Ad 2. I enjoyed it for 6k+ hours and 9+ years already. Quoting Serb from WoT here: if you don't like it, play another game.
Ad 3. I wonder if you got the skills to code anything beyond 'Hello World' maybe. For if it were so, you would be more modest.
Ad 4. Yes.

O7,
🙃

Not meaning to sound like "prove your worth" or "drop your panties Sir William", but maybe you can share some insight into which parts of the game you actually experienced since you started, and how you did it. You know, for us to gain a better understanding why, after such a short time, you want to basically stomp the game into the ground and change it from the ground up.

As it stands, this doesn't add up for me.

So, I checked out what Power Play 2.0 is. Honestly, it would’ve been better if the developers hadn’t done anything and just added the Type-8 for credits and the Mandalay for ARX. Grinding for... for what? Modules and discounts? Personally, as a player who can buy everything, that means nothing to me. Maybe someday, if you’re interested, I’ll write up my own vision of Power Play. I’ve already wrote what modules could be earned for. The simplest idea of PP that comes to mind is sacrificing 2-3 personal capital ships in the name of the Empire during a star or planet siege. I’d be up for that. Grinding for ranks is just another work.

So you are six months in, rushed a get rich quick scheme, already told us beforehand that PP 2.0 would suck and that you could design a much better game, and now that it is released you tell us PP 2.0 sucks?

Well, color me surprised.

It sounds like you have barely started to write PP for your game and are already making the same mistake as PP1.
The reason for doing the activity should be because it is of itself fun and interesting bribes such as modules and the like for playing suggest that is not going to be the case. Rewards would be nice but they should not be substantial enough to attract those with no interest in the core activity.
