"Goats Friend" Since the nebula Goat needs a friend
"Death Star" because then we all can say we build a Death Star, sorta (granted stations can't destroy planets, but at least bring death to any CMDR if they wish so)
But its probably best to go with something that has Obsidian Ant in it.

or
"Pirate Pwns Explorer Central" with the tombstones of renowned explorers floating about (Magellan, Cook, Amundsen, Obsidian Ant, etc)

Also JJ Abrams might be a nice name with the new Star Wars movie coming out soon, since we already have George Lucas and Ridley Scott.

How about something kind of imposing and standing as a bulwark in the darkness (and also a nod to the monolith in 2001 Space Odyssey, which in turn inspired the docking sequences in the original 1984 Elite):

I will also admit to a certain bias here. There is this tiny part of me that wants the station to become the focus of the first sustained attack by the Thargoids, as they try to snuff out our shining beacon, our lonely station set among the clouds of the Pleiades Nebula, so alone and so vulnerable, with only the commanders of the Pilot's Federation to defend it...
And however that turns out... don't you want to be able to say...
"Yes, I was there. I fought at the Battle of the Obsidian Gate."
