need help please

Hi I am wondering if there is a way to revert back to the 2d version of elite dangerous horizons ( I changed from 2d to vr version from my account here in frontier ) I don't want the oculus store to pop up every time I want to play ED, I have just had enough of hdmi disconnects every few minutes and oculus support asking for log files and hearing nothing back, so in the meantime I am giving up on the rift

In the graphics options go to 3D and deactivate it (will be set to HMD and headphones now). Then apply the changes. From that on, Elite should launch as a 2D game. I hope this helps :)

thanks Frank_G I had already don't that, should have said in post sorry, but oculus store still pops up, I was hoping there was a way of removing the key code I used to change ED to oculus back to how it was, even though I can play game in 2d oculus store sends the game to task bar where I have to open it,and i cant close oculus store as it will shut game down as well

Can you just make a shortcut to the launcher in the ED game folder and use that? (Not sure if that still will start Oculus Home if the game is set to 2D, it shouldn't).
If ED will launch from the standard launcher window, but Oculus Home still starts, try turning the "Allow external program" OFF in the Oculus Home settings.

I can run ED in 2D or in VR; I just change the setting in-game, exit out and re-launch the game. I only use the regular launcher (ED doesn't appear in Oculus Home as I didn't buy it there or use the code).
