Need tips for PVP

Today I finally reached a billion credits. Most came from bounty hunting, massacre missions and combat community goals. All of this was done in pve. My next goal is to learn pvp combat. I fly an engineered FAS. Any tips on how to get started in pvp are welcome.

I kid, I kid. Actually I do PvE so I have no clue. I have tons of respect for those who *are* good at PvP though.

PVP; find under-equipped, preferably inexperienced pilot and gank him with a wing of 3 of your mates; congrats your now a pvp pro-bro.

My recommendation is to start with a smaller ship like a Cobra, Vulture or DBS. They can be just as deadly as a large ship but their rebuys are peanuts and you will die a lot trying to learn. If properly engineered your FAS probably has a rebuy of over 6mil and that can hurt if you die 40 times in a short period. Lastly join the GCI and don't let repeated deaths discourage you.

Follow Ozram's advice, if you're serious about learning PvP.

Just buzz around in supercruise at a community goal.

You will get yanked and then you can get stuck in.

Most people are running twin large target lock breaker plassies and twin medium cascade rails on the FAS so that's the best loadout to start with.

Don't get too sidetracked by theory crafting, just get out there and have fun.

You could try shooting another CMDR who seems to know what they are doing and then asking for advice after they mop the floor with you, or vice versa.
