Oh boy. This gets better and better by the minutes. So all these breeds are basically bred for meat. In a game that claims to focus on conservation and animal welfare this is beyond funny. And our Hill Radnor Sheep is another giant mostly used as breeding bull to increase lamb size of other hill breeds.... just to get quickly growing tasty lambs lol.
No cause that should still be kunekune atleast regarding zoo representationDid they just Google "most common pig/etc. in UK" and take the top result without thinking they should specify "in zoos" and not count slaughterhouse-bound individuals?
Im sure pig and sheep are vulnerable as far as domestics go, but still these conservation efforts exist only to maintain sustainable food diversity. So yup. You save them from going extcint, just to eat them later.Oh boy. This gets better and better by the minutes. So all these breeds are basically bred for meat. To respect atleast the pig, nowadays its mostly bred for conservation and is seen as one of the uks 7 most endangerd breeds, but the fact that the kunekune and pot bellied also were endangerd breeds bred back from the brink of extinction and both being introduced to zoos starting in england for that reason and spreading to more country for beeing great petting zoo animals heavily muddies that pointOh boy. This gets better and better by the minutes. So all these breeds are basically bred for meat. In a game that claims to focus on conservation and animal welfare this is beyond funny.
I guess you could always play that you rescue them from the slaughter house
For continental european representation, I would rather have Turpolje pigs with their colourful patterns or the Mangulica for their short wooly fur coat and different coat patterns. No cause that should still be kunekune atleast regarding zoo representation
They are cuter and funnier and friendlier than Alpine goats.African pygmy goat is not a typical goat breeds. What is your obsession Pygmy goats anyway?
