It would be interesting to compare the popularity of animals and their presence in zoos (based on zootierlist for instance). Surprisingly, some animals (like the mara) are very common in zoos yet very rarely requested by the community.
I think the mara in particular suffers because the immense popularity of the somewhat similar capybara means it gets out-prioritized. I'd probably expect it to get a noticeable boost in popularity once the capybara is added.

Hmm... I just noticed you never lumped the Canis lupus subspecies votes together like you did the Leopards...
  • Arabian wolf (Canis lupus arabs) ------ 1
  • Italian Wolf (Canis lupus italicus) ------ 1
  • Mexican Wolf (Canis lupus baileyi) ---- 2
Shouldn't they be merged under one vote also? I mean, I suppose it would only be four in all, but still...

I thought all signs to flying have been from a debunked leak?
Have they? Don't know about that. I only believe they won't do birds this year when the pack is announced without birds.
(Then I'm here to give you all a hug though, as I might be one of the view than who is still in a cheerful mood :( )

There is mention about flocking in current files, which is basic grouping behavior for birds. In fact this mechanic can be applied to other species than aves, so if i had to guess then future update 1.X (with bird pack?) would also bring herding behaviours to the game.
Amazing!! Is that from @Leaf Productions's leak?

I don't remember that from the video
