Hi All
Ditto, I've never used either personally.
It's logical (to my way of thinking) if there's any official news about updates or other game related announcements that are fairly important then these forums should be the first port of call for players to look for that information. In the first instance that news and or information should be displayed here first, the other sites (imho) should be of a secondary nature.
Other people can of course disagree with that, that is an option of choice and their prerogative. What does irk me though is when it's hinted that I must be lacking in some way because I don't follow the perceived 'modern trend' of 'social media'.
I find that fairly easy to accomplish, I look on the Frontier Games Forums Website, and select whatever pertinent information I require from the various Forums displayed.
I have an account with Frontier which allows me to post on the forums, buy game related software or merchandise and I should be able to find any information on past, current or possibly future content for the games I'm particularly interested in.
I personally can't understand why I should need to create another account with another 'social media' website to obtain information about the very same game I'm trying to find out information for on these Forums.
Oh, I do understand some of the reasons why some other website might want me to create an account with them though.
As for 'X', the only 'X' I know (or care about) in a social media games sense is perhaps the 'X' games by Egosoft, but I can't for the life of me see how that games Forum is going to provide me with up to date and current information about Frontiers Games.
Anyhow, just over an hour to go for this months livestream...hopefully...

not at all. I just don't want to use X and prefer to use the official forums instead. I ended my twitter account some time ago for reasons which I should not need to justify here
I don't do X or Farcebook, so rely on others to post useful extracts that enable me to know without having to look myself...

They announced it on X days ago - as usual. And the usual suspects have failed to work that out the way they have for the last 10 months. I'm amazed they manage to find this website![]()
