As it states in the article, tracing back to their predicted point of origin, it isn't the centre of the galaxy and therefore can't be the SBH at the centre. But it could still be a black hole elsewhere in the galaxy, right? Maybe even a roaming one that travels through a system and what matter doesn't get absorbed gets accelerated out into deep space.
