New Exploration Features Request - All very easy to add, devs

  1. Show galactic coordinates in the ship's HUD similar to how you show them for SRV.
  2. Second set of control mappings for supercruise. We don't use hardpoints, boost, or power management in supercruise, so there are six buttons on the controller. They could be repurposed for useful things.
 
1. Could be useful, although perhaps better allocated to the Navigation panel I feel.

2.The FSD Interdictor is deployed in the same fashion as hardpoints, but even still,for the rest of them, it's all very well saying "They could be used for useful things" but what things?
 
Other suggestions:

1, An engineer - probably one of the explorer ones (Farseer/Martuk?) who will upgrade scanning time for the detailed surface scanner so it takes less time to scan.
2, These permit locked systems are incredibly annoying especially given manipulating the galmap is so clunky and but if you insist on doing it - please can we filter the map for permit locked systems so we don't have to spend hours trying to work our way around them step by step (this would really really be appreciated - the past few hours have been me trying to work my way around permit locked systems to get to an area that I know can be reached.....
3, Waypoint/bookmark multiple point bookmarking - i.e. go to one point then the other via the third.
4, Fix the planetary latitude longditude bug - at the moment flying directly south (heading 180) leads to latitude going up...

(1) Its curious why galactic-coordinates have not been made visible. They clearly exist. Was this a design decision or where they thought not to be required? I would assume that we cannot plot a jump to arbitary coordinates as the pseudo-physics requires a large mass to target.

(2) I for one use the power distribution when in SC - either to set up my cruising mode, or to select a distribution based on the scan a targetted USS. Likewise I do cycle hardpoints when in SC - particulary to get back to the Scanner, or to my initial engagement set. And trigger is used for the "Honk". That leaves "boost" and "retract"?
