Would it be possible to obtain "alien" ship enhancements or pioneering developments during encounters throughout the Galaxy, picked up through cargo scoop, that can help to improve the basic configuration of the current ship i.e. FSD enhancer, Thargoid organic beam disrupter, Phasing shielding to harmonically neutralise weapons, Military top secret development weaponry, additional pips to run 4 pip system and 4 pip weapons with 2 pip engine, Regen module for enhanced charge rate etc.
